Counsellors & therapists based at the Centre

A number of therapists work out of the Adlerian Society’s Centre in Narberth. If you feel that seeing a counsellor would be helpful, you can get in touch with us (see the Contact Us page for details), and we will put you in touch with one.

Counselling at the Centre can be provided in a number of ways.

Counsellors in private practice

These are fully qualified counsellors, operating out of the Centre on a private basis. They generally charge normal fees, although some may offer a sliding scale of fees based on ability to pay.

Low-cost counselling

The Society’s Diploma students, following completion of their core training, are permitted to counsel selected clients as part of their professional development to become qualified practitioners. The fees charged for this service contribute towards the cost of supervising and supporting these counsellors.

No-cost counselling

The Society can offer no-cost counselling, either using Diploma students, or professional counsellors, to individuals without the ability to pay for either private counsellor or the low-cost service. This service is funded solely by the Society and its own fundraising, and is necessarily limited.
