The Society’s building in Narberth has a number of rooms available for professionals to hire. These consist of three counselling rooms, a small seminar room, and our main training area, the Ansbacher room.

All of the rooms are named after luminaries of the Adlerian movement.

Ansbacher room

The Ansbacher Room is our main training and conference area, seating 25 in comfort and providing a calm, airy space.

This room is situated on the ground floor, and has disabled access and toilet facilities, and an adjoining small kitchen area suitable for the preparation of hot drinks.

This is our comfort sofa in the training room - used by clients to relax with a hot drink and local paper whilst waiting and for our trainee counsellors to sink into after a hard day at work.

The room itself is ideal as a training and conference area, seating 25 in comfort, and being airy and well-lit. It opens onto the Society’s gardens, a landscaped space maintained by Society members, and ideal for taking a breather (weather permitting!) during courses and seminars.

The room is also used as a waiting area for clients attending for counselling, and is the main space used by the Society for its counsellor training courses.

Seminar room

Situated on the first floor, the ????? room is a smaller space than the Ansbacher suite, suitable for small groups and seminars of around ten people. It also houses the Society’s library, and a PC and printer provided for the use of students to write essays and conduct research. The room is usually furnished in a comfortable “conservatory” style, with wicker furniture, but can be set up for seminars and training, too.

Udall, Dreikurs-Ferguson and ??? counselling rooms

Also on the first floor, this room is a compact space at the front of the building, with a large window offering plenty of daylight.

On the second floor of the building are two further counselling rooms.

Room hire

The Society makes these rooms available at very reasonable rates to professionals, eg. counsellors and registered hypnotherapists. Rooms can be booked in advance, though are not available when the Centre is being used for training. To enquire about booking a room, please contact the society to discuss arrangements and terms.
