Throughout the year, there are activities taking place to raise funds to keep our centre alive and kicking. It costs a considerable amount of money to fund our operation, including maintaining, heating and lighting the building, providing subsidised counselling to the community, and supporting our trainees.
We receive very few grants for our work, but we are always trying to reach out to the community and extend our support into it.
We are funded mainly by membership fees, from counsellors, other individuals, and organisations who join the society, and by a variety of fund-raising events that are held throughout the year.
